Do not start putting down supermarket bait. A half poisoned rodent population learns to avoid stations and makes the professional job slower.
Do not seal a bee entrance. Trapped honey ferments inside the wall and turns a removal into a repair job.
Do not disturb a wasp nest. Keep everyone off the flight line, close the windows on that side and bring the pets in.
Note the detail. What time you hear it, which room, and whether it is a light scurry or a heavy thump. That tells us a lot before we arrive.
Clear the access. The roof manhole and the subfloor hatch if you can get to them.
